The Lenexa Justice Center is the city’s largest solar project—and it demanded more than a standard install. Although the building was intended to be “solar-ready,” it wasn’t.  SunSmart developed a creative interconnection approach that satisfied code and construction safety while meeting the City’s strict requirement of no power shutdowns for critical first responders.
