SunSmart supported the Kansas National Guard’s first microgrid at Forbes Field with detailed structural and electrical designs for solar carports, batteries/controls system, and generators serving three buildings. Working alongside the Guard’s engineering team, we performed advanced energy and performance modeling to meet tight performance criteria while staying within a strict budget—then delivered a complete technical package to carry the project through the bidding process.
