Solar doesn’t have to hide. For Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City, SunSmart designed a one-of-a-kind rooftop trellis that turns solar into a showpiece—bringing shade to rooftop patios while reducing utility costs. We helped shape the project scope around fundraising capacity and guided a long, iterative design process that balanced real-world constraints and city requirements—resulting in a clean-energy feature for a flagship nonprofit.
